Heritage Open Days (HODs) is England’s largest festival of history and culture. Running for 10 days every September, it offers free access to heritage events and activities across England.
All of the HODs events and places for the Harrogate district will be shown below.

Please note the following changes to event opening dates:
How Stean Gorge. The Heritage Open Days event will run from Monday 14th to Friday 18th September, 09:00 – 17:00. Pre-booking is required.
St. Wilfrid’s Church, South Stainley. The Heritage Open Days event will be on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September, 11:00 – 17:00. The church will be open for visitors for the rest of the week. Booking is not required.
