William Grainge

History sub-group member Paul Jennings is giving a talk at the Library on William Grainge
- a prolific historian of Yorkshire.

William Grainge (1818-1895) was a prolific historian of Yorkshire, including his History of Harrogate and the Forest of Knaresborough of 1871. This illustrated talk by Paul Jennings explores his life and work and its important contribution to the study of the town which was his home for thirty-five years.
