Society Events

The society provides a varied and interesting set of events each year.  These include visits to local and further afield places of historic interest as well as contemporary places such as the British Library or The Allerton Waste Recovery Park.  Additionally talks and lectures are held locally on subjects of Civic interest ranging from buildings to artists.

Events may be held at locations directly related to the event or at our regular meeting place of

St Paul's UR Church Hall on Belford Road (off Victoria Avenue opposite the Library).

See Upcoming Events for details.

Social meetings are also held, like the annual pre-Christmas social.

Members are welcome and encouraged to attend Society events.

Events are also open to non-members who are welcome to come and join in.
